Dance in Transit, a concept for free outdoor dance events happening this spring and summer in four amazing downtown Vancouver venues: Robson Square, Jim Deva Plaza, Queen Elizabeth Plaza, and Plaza of Nations. This concept helps to build community involvement, expanding social networks in Vancouver, ease people away from their digital devices, and back to face-to-face connection. The idea is to engage anyone in Vancouver to a healthy, safe, fun activity. It is a free event open to the public.
Twenty Seven (27) events over a span of sixteen (16) weeks, each event is free and open to the public. Each event will focus on specific dance styles with mini-lessons, demonstrations, performances and social dancing.
Dance in Transit is the largest and longest dance event in the history of Vancouver
